Some of the best glass in the country from some of the best artists in the world were all present. Ross 4.0, SYN, Hitman, oh the list goes on. On the last day of the show, actually during the last few hours of the show I walked by a table out by Shackman Studios and saw this tube. I stopped and did a double take, I must admit that I'm a sucker for the color pink in glass. I'm not sure if it was the pink, the art, or what, but something grabbed me. I picked up the tube, inspected it, got the price, and drooled for a few minutes. Then I walked away and met up with the rest of the crew in the Jellyfish suite. 10 minutes later I was walking across the street to the Hard Rock to get cash, that baby had to come back to VA with me. So low and behold I present to you "Sacred Geometry" by WJC out of Shackman Glass Studios in CO. Just last week we received our first shipment from BOOM FELAZI. After opening the package and getting a good look at the pieces I was very impressed. The glass is so clean and free from any of those little scratches or distractions. I first noticed the "stack" like form of the tubing and was curious about it' s actual name. I soon found myself on the phone searching for some basic background info about this sick new product.

Enough variation, but looping is very obvious.Enough variation, but at a louder volume the loop is obvious.Enough variation for me and looping works well.If the machine is played at a low volume, I don’t notice the looping as much as when it is played louder. Some sounds are spliced together almost seamlessly while with others there is a break in sound continuity and the start of a new cycle is obvious. I like the birds, thunder rain, camp fire, and train sound. The quality of the built-in sounds varies widely though: So as far the hardware goes, I like the Dreamegg D3 Pro. This is quite a surprise, given that the company advertises 12 hours on a single charge. The battery life is great too: playing the machine at about 50 percent of maximum volume, the battery lasts me more than 30 hours before I have to recharge. Many of the nature sounds are even in stereo you don’t hear this through the speaker, but if you listen to the sounds via the headphone jack, this is nice. The speaker quality and volume range (from quiet to very loud) of the Dreamegg D3 Pro are very good. Summary of my impressions after having used the Dreamegg D3 Pro for a couple of weeks I have now used the D3 Pro for a couple of weeks and am ready to post my review. It is also compact and light and has a built-in battery, and it is not too small to house a good speaker. What attracted me to the Dreamegg D3 Pro is that in addition to white noises (7) and fans (7), it has 15 nature sounds, including plenty of water sounds. Now, armed with three albums, and so many more songs to choose from I finished by asking about picking the setlist for live shows So, I would recommend anyone to take a listen to what they have out already. Lindsey, who Chris is getting married to is a super talented songwriter. But Chris and his fiancé have a band called ‘Babe Corner’. But over the past couple of years, I’ve only been listening to classic rock and what I guess you would consider ‘oldies’ nowadays. I wish I could give you a good answer of new bands that I listened to. “I think honestly, I only listened to The Beatles the entire pandemic. And we’re really lucky.”ĭiscussing music that he listened to and discovered during the pandemic, he says Two years later, finally coming back here, and being able to play all these shows feels good. But anyway, it felt like the end of the world at the time. In some ways, I think it helped people find our music or listen to music more. I feel like people were just glued to their phones. All I was doing was talking on FaceTime all the time, or just on my phone looking at Instagram. Everybody was at home and couldn’t leave or do anything. Having released their new album in very different circumstances to their pandemic album ‘You and Your Friends, Neil discusses the experience of releasing music during Covid I don’t know if I like it that much anymore. I thought that’d be a cool album title, because it’s kind of like a double entendre for our second and third record as well. It’s about being awake from 2am till 3am. “‘From 2 to 3’ was the first song that I wrote for the album. It’s pretty gross.”ĭiscussing the bands third album name ‘From 2 to 3’, he says The one I lived on in Vancouver is like nightclub city. This one had a couple of nice little flats on it and a convenience store. Although, the Granville street that I found in Bristol is very different from the street that I live on. So, I just saw it and I was just like, f**k yeah, snap a little pic. I took a picture of it because Granville Street is the street that I lived on in Vancouver. When we were walking there, I found Granville Street. “When we were in Bristol yesterday, we were heading towards a Banksy that we found on Google Maps. The opening track ‘Up Granville’ is a personal highlight and Neil discusses finding a UK Granville Street in Bristol, and the songs meaning The new album brings a refreshing new sound and is an easy listen for anyone craving those chill summer feels. I mean, if anyone’s not familiar with our music, we’re not the loudest band. We played in Leeds a couple of nights ago and there was full on circle mosh pits for every single song. They know how to party way earlier than we did or something. I think British teenagers are way crazier than American and Canadian ones. I guess it’s been like four years since we were able to play over here. Neil’s demeanour is effortlessly friendly and cool. You know, you get the salt in your hair, the curls. I just went down to my underwear and jumped in. Actually, we went across the street to the beach, and I just impulsively was like, I have to go swimming. Sat backstage at Concorde 2, we overlook the beach on a beautiful sunny day in Brighton and Neil confesses We played here a few years ago at The Great Escape Festival. I started by asking if Peach pit had been to Brighton before. I had the chance to catch up with the band’s frontman Neil Smith, ahead of their show at Brighton’s Concorde 2. Having released their third studio album ‘From 2 to 3’, indie-rock quartet Peach Pit have become a household name in the indie rock scene, racking up 100’s of millions of streams on Spotify alone and over 200,000 Instagram followers. And, to be sure, this is pretty much what Vasilevskiy does. On the other hand, they were deliberate about pushing that team away from their goalie, who happens to be the best goalie in the world. On the one hand, the Lightning just got outskated and out-puck-possessed by the best team in the league for four games. He is Tampa’s greatest, most consistent advantage. He is doing it again this year: In 11 playoff games, he’s stopped 11 more shots than the numbers would expect from a typical goalie, per Money Puck. He led the NHL in goals saved above expectation, a measure of goalie performance based on where opposing chances are coming from, in each of the past two playoffs. When pucks did get through, Vasilevskiy was almost impenetrable, as is his custom at this point. Tampa Bay did not look like a team making a last stand, even as the Panthers spent the series controlling the puck the majority of the time. The Panthers had looked a little bit off in their own first-round win over the Capitals, but the Lightning sweeping Florida out of the playoffs in four games was still a tour de force. Then the Lightning played their local rivals, the Florida Panthers, who had won the Presidents’ Trophy with 122 points in the regular season. The Lightning won Game 6 on a counterattack after the Leafs’ best player fell down while looking for a pass at center ice, then they eked out a Game 7 road win on the strength of two goals from depth forward Nick Paul. In a seven-game, first-round series win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Lightning were at death’s door before the Leafs did what they always do. But none of that has happened, and terrifyingly, Tampa Bay might be gaining strength. Something should trip them up, because it’s hard to make the game develop your way three years in a row. They should get tired, because they have played so many damned games. Something-maybe dead legs, maybe puck luck-is supposed to catch up with the Lightning at some point. Nobody has won three Cups in a row since the New York Islanders won four from 1980 to ’83. The Penguins hit a post in the same overtime that eliminated them. Or maybe the good fortune any team needs to win a Stanley Cup just ran out. “Maybe we were a little bit tired,” Evgeni Malkin said afterward. Washington beat them in overtime to clinch a six-game series, ending Pittsburgh’s three-peat bid. The Penguins had also played way more games than anyone else. After the Pittsburgh Penguins went back-to-back in 2016 and ’17, they pushed into the second round in 2018 against the Washington Capitals, whom they’d beaten in the previous two playoffs. There are not a lot of cases like Tampa Bay’s, but that’s supposed to catch up with a team. Not every player played every game those two years (star winger Nikita Kucherov missed the entire 2020-21 regular season before returning for the playoffs), but still, the Lightning have played a lot of hockey and put a lot of tread on their tires. Their roster is not exactly the same as it was in 2020 or 2021, but the core of the team is still in place. The Rays’ hitters took advantage, grabbing a 4-0 lead in the second on solo homers by Randy Arozarena (his team-high 14th) and Isaac Paredes, then some aggressive, opportunistic baserunning that led to two more runs after some sloppy Baltimore play.In these three years, the Lightning have played a quarter-season’s worth of more hockey than anyone else. “We haven’t played our best baseball here as of late, and we needed a good start to let the offense get rolling,” manager Kevin Cash said. It improved their majors-best record to 52-25 and increased their American League East lead over the O’s to five games. His teammates were feeling pretty good, too, as the win before 19,493 at Tropicana Field halted their season-high three-game losing streak. Because it’s no walks and the six innings. He was much happier with Wednesday’s work, calling it the best of his 10 big-league starts. Taj Bradley was dominant against a patient Orioles lineup over a career-high six innings, allowing one run and three hits while walking none and striking out eight.īradley was notably frustrated by failing to get through the fifth inning in his last outing, despite striking out 11 (including the first six A’s) and the Rays winning.
